England on top after Anderson's "Four"

It was the first day of the 2nd Ashes test where England took the early advantage of a crucial match. Australia had a bizzare start losing first first three batsmen for just 2 runs including that of the captain Ponting. Thanks to Jimmy Anderson who had ripped apart their backbone in a quick succession. They while were tottering miserably Watson gave the glimmer of hope for sustaining the innings by scoring a watchful half century.
After his dismissal Hussey and North put up a half century partnership for fifth wicket. Then the saviour of Australia in the first Ashes test Haddin arrived. He along with Hussey put up a fighting show, but Swann struck just in time to deny Hussey of his century.
Then wickets went on tumbling and finally while Haddin making a half century as well. Australia were piled up at 245, making Anderson star for his 4-55, and overall sensable bowling by the English bowlers. Currently, Cook and Strauss are playing who still have to open their account and scoreboard lies at 1-0 at the close of day 1 .
