Nadal- tennis conquerer of 2010

For many years into making Nadal and Federer have produced the best of the tennis to offer.Like so many of the followed years, 2010 has been a special and a very memorable years for both of the master class players. Nadal's year was the most sublime as compared to the other years. At the tender age of 24 he became the youngest player to achieve the Career Grand Slam.

Rafa had come into 2010 with almost 11 winless months , where in 2009 he was plagued by injuries and mainly family problems. His road to sublimity started from Monte Carlo which then followed with a clean sweep of Clay season with wins at Rome and Madrid, becoming the first player to achieve this. This would not be unfair deeming it as the best seasons in history. Nadal also broke the record for the most ATP Masters 1000 with 18 wins. through the French open where he was total. His form carried to the Roland Garros where he regained the title beating Soderling This subsequently took him to the number 1 spot. His next destination was the All England Club where he was to be the defending champion in 2009, but due to his injuries had to skip. This time all he wanted was redemption, which he successful had by beating Berdych in the finals claiming his second Wimbeldon title.
Next was the US Open , the only arena unconquered. With his resilience ,he finally made it to the finals. This year Federer failed to qualify for the final, eventually placing Nadal's opponent Djokovic for the finals. In a rain-delayed match he beat Djokovic, soon  this eventually  made him the very best who are in the league of holding the Career Grand slams.
Later  his progress had slowed down a little, he also stepped out from the Paris ATP Masters just to be fit for the Barclays World Tour Finals. He then in the London , showed awesome performance, winning all the round robin matches, where he previous year failed to win none. He at last was to face Roger Federer, who had similar credential in the tournment with no loss at all. He ultimately was undone by Federer in three sets. He was awarded the ATP Tour number 1 player award in the tournment as well.

“I think [it] was a very emotional season. I am very happy for everything and just [want to] say thank you very much [to] all the people that supported me when I had the difficult moments [and] when I was winning.”
