Shahid Afridi found editing his Wikipedia page

Shahid Afridi, Pakistan's former captain was found editing  his Wikipedia page, replacing words and sometimes entire sentences .

"He immediately minimised the window on his computer screen when I walked into his room last evening," said younger brother Ashfaq. "At first I didn't think anything of it, figuring he was just watching reruns of Dancing With the Stars, but then I noticed the tab on the minimised window said 'Shahid Afridi - Wikipedia'. I backed out of the room slowly and went out to get some more hair conditioners to add to Shahidbhai's collection, which never fails to lift his spirits."
Other sources have opined that Afridi is pulling out all the stops in a bid to make a comeback to the Pakistan team, now that Waqar Younis, with whom Afridi has had a turbulent relationship, has resigned as coach.
The following are the parts of the page as edited by the Pakistan player before, due to complaints by some users and Afridi's agent, Wikipedia reverted it back to the original. Afridi's inputs appear in bold and the words he replaced are struck through.

Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi (born 1 March 1980 1992), popularly known as Shahid Afridi, is a brilliant Pakistani cricketer, widely considered a great of the game and a precocious one at that, for someone still so young. Between 1996 and 2011, Afridi
played
distinguished himself in 27 Tests, 325 one-day Internationals, and 43 Twenty20 internationals (T20Is) for the Pakistani national team. He made his ODI debut on 2 October 1996 at the tender age of four (a record, one among many that he holds)against Kenya and his Test debut on 22 October 1998 against Australia.
Batting
His general style of batting is very devastatingly aggressive, an undeniable force of nature, to be honest and attack-oriented and has earned him the nickname "Boom Boom Afridi" (Believe the hype!). He holds the record for the fastest ODI century ever, which he made in his first international innings, as well as scoring 32 58 runs in a single over, the
highest scoring over ever ever ever in an ODI. He also holds the distinction of having hit the most number of sixes EVER in the history of ODI cricket. Afridi considers himself as good a bowler as he is a batsman (who the hell wrote this thing??) and has taken (1)48 Test wickets and way over 300 in ODIs. Currently Afridi is the leading wicket-taker in the Twenty20 format (ever) with (1)53 wickets from 43 matches.
second a better bowler than batsman,

Bowling
Having started as a fast bowler, Afridi decided to switch to bowling spin after he was told he was throwing simply too fast. He modelled himself on Pakistan legspinner Abdul Qadir.
Hollywood heartthrob Sylvester Stallone. His supporters have been known to superimpose his head onto the body of Rambo on posters, though they needn't do that for I - I mean Afridi - already has a body that Rambo would die in Afghanistan for.
Captaincy
In June 2009, Afridi took over the Twenty20 captaincy from Younis Khan (better believe it!) and naturally was later appointed ODI captain for the 2010 Asia Cup. In his first match as ODI captain, against Sri Lanka, he scored a century however Pakistan still lost by 16 runs.
He then also took over the Test captaincy but resigned after one match in charge citing
lack of form and ability to play Test cricket pressing humanitarian work in various developing nations around the world in his other job as spokesman for UNICEF, UNDP, PETA, and various other capital-letters-thrown-together thingies; at the same time he announced his retirement from Tests.

He however retained the captaincy in limited-overs form of the game and led the team admirably and to what would have been victory in the 2011 World Cup had it not been for some dumb****s in the team, who couldn't have caught a cold let alone a catch that day against India. In May 2011, having led Pakistan in 34 ODIs, Afridi
was replaced stepped down again as captain. Later that month he announced his conditional retirement from international cricket in protest against his treatment by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Yeah but with Waqar gone, I'm back now, b******s!

Samuel Eto’o becomes World’s Highest Paid Footballer

Samuel Eto'o is all set to become the World's highest paid footballer as on 23 August 2011, Anzhi Makhachkala reached an agreement with Internazionale to sign Eto'o in a three-year deal that is expected to make him the world's highest paid player, with an earning of €20.5m($29 million) per season for the next three years. He is on his way to Russia, where billionaire oligarch Suleyman Kerimov will make him the highest paid footballer in the world. In short it would be £20,000,000 per year, about £400,000 per week, £57,142.86 per day and £2380.95 per hour for the Cameroon Striker.

The 30-year-old Cameroonian may make his debut for club Anzhi already on Saturday in Rostov-on-Don with his new jersey number, 99.A three-time Champions League winner with 469 career goals for Inter, Barcelona and Mallorca, Eto'o has a proven track record in the world's toughest leagues and joins Anzhi still in his prime, a first for Russia's improving but still obscure Premier League.

According to  AP:

"While financial terms were not disclosed, Eto'o is expected to be paid €20 million ($29 million) net per season, eclipsing the estimated €12 million ($17.4 million) that Cristiano Ronaldo earns at Real Madrid and the €10.5 million ($15.2 million) that Lionel Messi is paid by Barcelona."

Not only does this deal put the former Inter and Barcelona striker well ahead of Cristiano and Messi, it also means he's getting paid more than the NBA's highest paid player, Kobe Bryant ($25.2 million). Of course, the New York Yankees' Alex Rodriguez still makes more with his $32 million this year

England completes Indian whitewash at The Oval

England went to secure an all happy whitewash, just recently after being crowned by WorldNo.1 at Edgbaston. There could be nothing of less joy for the English team as
they went Indian innings after a daunting Tendulkar-Mishra partnership which was
getting threatening.Swann's 6-106 being the architect of Indian demolition, went
on to avoid a probable draw as they succumbed to an innings and 8 runs defeat.

Ian Bell went on to earn the man of the match award for this outstanding double
century in the first innings, whereas Rahul Dravid and Stuard Broad went on to
win joint Man of the Series Award.

Tendulkar and Mishra who commenced the last day's match, went to score India's
highest partnership in the serieswith 144 runs. One side Tendulkar was bidding to
score his 100th international century, who before his dismissal was dropped at 85
by Prior off Swann, and also Cook dropped a relatively easy catch at short leg
when he was at 70.  Though it could have been an infamous way to reach the
milestone, but Bresnan who was newly replaced after Mishra's dismissal, who was
bowled off Swann's delivery went on to be trapped leg beforeat 91. It was an
off pitched delivery which came in sharply, but umpire Tucker after brief thinking
got his finger straight up. Initially it seemed to be bit high, but hawk eye suggested
that it was going to clip off leg stump bails by just. After that it was matter of overs
from 262-4 it was soon 283-10 , and things fell apart like pack of cards.

Sreesanth was the last to fall, heaving an inside edge on to the stumps to send England into another round of celebrations. England have set a benchmark for this generation of Test cricket by this epic whitewash and their daunting and so dominating number 1 spot which could not be so comprehensive. All others need to follow along the trend of the day, and make their way upto to the hill.
